MELODY - A Program of The Music School of Delaware

Music Enriches the Lives of Delaware Youth (MELODY)

Student playing a violinThe Music School of Delaware has partnered with Presbyterian Church of the Covenant’s EDGE for Tomorrow program to provide our MELODY program. The mission of MELODY is to teach life and community-building skills through music while making quality music education accessible to all. The program includes string instrument instruction, ensemble participation, Bucket Band, Music Fundamentals Class, and other musical activities. Currently in its fourth year of operation, MELODY accepts incoming students at each site who will be entering 1st grade in the fall.

The program runs Monday-Thursday while school is in session from 3:30pm to 6pm.

Homework help and nutrition are also provided. Regular attendance for the duration of the program day is required. There is no cost for the program or any materials. To help support this program, please consider making a donation!
